Suika on GBA

A custom Game Boy Advance adaptation inspired by the Suika-style puzzle.

Pixel box art for Suika GBA Edition, with stacked fruit and a watermelon.

Custom game

Suika GBA Edition is a homebrew fruit-merging puzzle built for the Game Boy Advance. Drop fruits into the play area, combine matching ones, and work up the chain toward the watermelon.

The rules are simple. Keeping the pile under control gets harder fast. This version was built for GBA hardware, with pixel-art visuals, a compact handheld-friendly interface, score tracking, and pick-up-and-play puzzle play.

Suika on GBA is an unofficial homebrew inspired by the Suika-style fruit puzzle. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of Suika Game.

How it plays

  • Classic Suika-style fruit merging
  • Multiple fruit evolutions leading up to the watermelon
  • Score and best-score tracking
  • Preview of the next fruit
  • Pause, restart, and quit
  • Designed for original Game Boy Advance hardware and emulators

How to play

Move the fruit into position and press A to drop it. When two matching fruits touch, they merge into the next fruit in the chain. Keep merging, build your score, and do not let the pile reach the top.
