Information you send me
If you request work, I receive the details you type into the quote form. That can include your name, email, phone number, the way you want me to reply, a general location, and what you want repaired, upgraded, or built.
You can also attach:
- Photos of a device
- A game, project, or patch file
I do not ask for a street address, a payment card, or an account password. There is no customer login on this site.
If you send a collaboration inquiry, I receive the company, contact, and project details you type into that form. You can also attach one optional campaign or brief file.
How I use it
I use that information to review the request and reply to you. Collaboration inquiry details, including an optional brief, are used to evaluate the idea and reply if it looks like a fit. I do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list. Photos and files are only used for that request or inquiry. I do not publish them, and I do not use them to build a game library.
Where it is stored
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Request details are stored in a private database. Photos and uploaded files are stored in private file storage. They are not on a public page.
When a request arrives, I get an email through Resend so I can reply. That email includes the request details. It does not include a public link to your photos or files.
Photos are accepted as JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Game, patch, and project files are limited to the types the form asks for. I check the file type and size before storing them. I do not run those files, and I do not scan them for malware. A file can still be unsafe to open on your own computer.
Spam checks
The quote form and the collaboration form use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated submissions. Your browser talks to Cloudflare, and this site sends Cloudflare the resulting token to confirm it. If that check is missing or does not succeed, the request is not saved. The check does not receive your name, email, phone number, photos, or uploaded files. You can readCloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare may also count repeated submissions from the same connection so the form is not flooded. That count is not saved with your request. A hidden field that people leave blank is discarded before anything is stored or emailed.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful. Analytics can include the pages you visit, a general location such as a city or region, the device and browser you use, and the site that referred you. Google may store a cookie in your browser for that.
Analytics does not receive your name, email, phone number, photos, or uploaded files, and I do not use it to identify a request. You can readGoogle’s Privacy Policyandhow Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Links that leave this site
Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube links open those sites. Their privacy policies apply once you leave nugknows.com.
How long I keep it
I keep a request or collaboration inquiry while I am working on it, and for a while after, in case you follow up. If you want me to delete your request, inquiry, photos, or files, use therequest formand say it is a privacy request. Include the email or phone number you used so I can find it.
