Idol Roll
A marble-matching temple adventure for the Game Boy Advance. Fire marbles into the chain, break sets of three, and seal the hole before the chain reaches the maw.

Original game
Idol Roll is a homebrew puzzle for the Game Boy Advance. You are a stone jaguar idol in a temple. A chain of carved marbles rolls toward the maw. Turn, aim, and fire into the chain. Match three or more of a color to break them apart, set off chain reactions, and fill the spirit bar.
It plays on original hardware with a flash cart and in emulators. Stages reached, scores, best times, and Gauntlet bests save to the cartridge battery.
How it plays
- 81 levels across 13 stages in four temples: Jungle, Sun, Shadow, and the hidden Golden Temple, plus a final challenge in The Void
- Five boss fights: the Moss Guardian, Sun Tyrant, Shade Bat, Golden Serpent, and the Void Eye
- 31 tracks, including spirals, figure eights, tunnels, and double chains
- Combos, chain reactions, and gap shots
- Seven power-up marbles: Reverse, Slow, Accuracy, Blast, Lightning, Laser, and Tri-shot
Modes
- Casual, Classic, and Kid Mode
- Gauntlet mode on any track you have reached, in Practice or Survival
- Battery saves for stages reached, top scores, best times, and Gauntlet bests
How to play
Hold Left or Right to turn the idol, and use L and R for fine aim. A fires. B swaps the loaded marble with the next one, which is shown on the idol's back. Start pauses. When the spirit bar fills, the hole seals and the chain backs up. Clear what is left to finish the level.
